Bestway’s turnover is on course to reach £2.5bn next year, according to Bestway Group chief executive Zameer Choudrey.
He made the forecast at the annual Bestway Performance Awards ceremony last week and said that Bestway’s turnover this year was more than £2.2bn.
In the awards, David Howe, manager of the Batleys depot in Edinburgh was named Overall Manager of the Year, winning £2,000, a trophy and certificate.
The Overall Branch of the Year Award was won by Batleys Bradford and the trophy, certificate and £3,000 for the depot staff was presented to general manager John Wales.
Zameer Choudrey, said: “These awards have gained a reputation in our industry for recognising professionalism across the entire business. Our staff are our lifeblood, and throughout the group, everyone continues to work hard, and some those whose success we celebrate tonight deserve special recognition. All our staff ensure that our customers always consider Bestway as the number one, where it matters, for choice, price and for service. We congratulate them.”
