Bestway has launched a specialist publication aimed at its catering customers. The magazine, titled Essentially Catering, has introduced its first edition in time for the Christmas buying season.
The first issue is 70 pages with a print run of 60,000 and is in full colour. It will be published four times a year and contains editorial on industry news, recipes, business case studies, service concepts, product information, advice, competitions, and information intended to help readers get the best from their business.
The magazine will be distributed through all Bestway and Batley depots, and will be direct mailed to catering customers and handed personally to customers by the firm’s sales teams.
Although it is available to customers free of charge, the magazine will display a cover price of pound;2.40.
David Gilroy, Bestway controller responsible for the launch, said: “The catering sector continues to be a more and more important part of the business to both Bestway and Batleys.
“The launch of the magazine is an extension to the considerable marketing effort put in by the group to attract caterers, both large and small and of all types.
“Judging from the initial response from customers, they have found the magazine interesting, useful, entertaining and of value, which has to be a good start for us.”
