Batleys has revealed more details about its new Scottish office, first revealed by wholesalenews.co.uk on June 20, which will be managing all Scotland specific operations.
The management of the Scottish office will headed by Martin Race, Batleys’ operations director for the UK, with David Livingstone as operations manager for cash and carry Scotland, Frank Fraser as operations manager foodservice / drinks direct and Steve Irons as foodservice contract manager.
Gerry Fraser will be senior trading manager, and will also have a dedicated role for the company’s push into the promotion and sourcing of all Scottish-related products, and producers of these products are being invited to approach him.
All invoicing for the Scottish business will be handled at the Bestway group headquarters at Park Royal in London. As a result of these developments the former Dundee office will be closed from mid July.
