Bidvest 3663 has appointed Andrew Selley to the newly-created role of chief executive.
Selley has worked for the Bidvest group for the past 15 years, with responsibility for Bidvest logistics and automotive logistics in the UK, and for developing the Bidvest Foodservice businesses in the Middle East, Turkey, the Baltics and Spain. His new role sees him oversee both the Bidvest 3663 and Bidvest Logistics operations.
The company is continuing to pursue its growth strategy which includes the recent announcement of the second stage of a multi-million pound infrastructure investment programme, which will see four new depots as well as an updated national company infrastructure and IT systems.
Selley takes over from group managing director Alex Fisher who left last month after 23 years with the business.
