A lesson in good nutrition from Bidvest 3663 and Unilever Food Solutions

Bidvest 3663 and Unilever have already donated more than 55,000 meals to the World Food Programme’s (WFP) school feeding project in East Timor, Indonesia.

To support the programme’s World Food Week running this year from October 13-17, 3663 is again working with Unilever Food Solutions to provide fundraising kits containing recipes, menu plans plus emotive and educational promotional material so caterers can get involved in their own events.

Philippa Norton, national accounts marketing manager for Bidvest 3663 said: “By supporting the WFP, Unilever Food Solutions is making a difference to thousands of under-nourished children in Indonesia. We were delighted to raise awareness of this campaign with our customers and to help get as many schools involved as possible.”

And James Allred, UFS channel marketing manager, said: “The support we’ve had from our customers this year has been phenomenal. The amazing contribution from Bidvest 3663 has ensured that we’re well on track to meet our target of donating one million meals to the WFP by 2017.
