3663 has won the contract to supply ambient and chilled products to facility service provider ISS for up to five years.
ISS awarded the contract following a three-way pitch. The agreement will cover a number of the company’s divisions including the health, education, defence and business and industry sectors.
ISS has more than 42,500 employees nationwide and services more than 300 hospitals, 60 education units and 2,000 business and industry units throughout the UK, with a growing number in the catering sector.
John Pearce, procurement manager of ISS, said: “3663 has a comprehensive range of healthier and special food products and offers the infrastructure to deliver the service levels that we demand. Its continued effort to make a tangible difference in terms of sustainability is also one of the key areas that sets it apart from the competition, and matches our ambitions. ”
“The contract is a coup for the company,” said Gavin Hands, marketing manager, 3663 national accounts. “We’ve already started the working relationship with ISS and can offer it a number of added value services to help strengthen its customer propositions.”
The contract will run until 2012.
