3663 has won a five-year food and drink contract with restaurant chain TGI Friday’s, which is worth more than £30m a year. The deal is an extension of a contract that commenced in February 2008.
Paul Smith, sales manager at 3663, commented: “We’re thrilled to have extended this significant contract – supplying all of TGI Friday’s food, drink and non-food needs. We’re also supporting the Features > Business, and re-investing in our partnership, by recycling their waste cooking oil to convert into bio-diesel for our fleet. Not only does this help reduce carbon emissions but it supports TGI Friday’s commitment to reduce waste as part of its sustainability agenda – and we’re proud to be a part of that.”
Alyson Scott, head of supply chain at TGI Friday’s UK, said: “Over the last three years, the service levels provided by 3663 have always been well above 99% – and that’s why we chose to move all our food and drink needs to them. TGI Friday’s strives to treat the environment with the same respect we show our guests and it’s great to work with a business partner that has the same ethos.
“More than this, 3663’s ability to consolidate all our needs into one easy delivery saves us so much time, so our team can focus on what’s important – our guests.”
