3663 increases use of biodiesel

3663 is converting more than three quarters of its trucks to a sustainable biodiesel mix.

The fleet will run on fuel made from customers’ and suppliers’ recycled waste vegetable oil from this month.

Trucks from five depots will start using the mix this month.with four more depots following in April. Graham Rennie, director of fleet for 3663, said: “This will allow us to supply customers across the UK with a more sustainable delivery service. The programme has removed 3663 from the food versus fuel debate because we convert waste vegetable oil from our customers and suppliers.”
