As part of its continuing partnership with Hospitality Action, foodservice wholesaler 3663 has announced a new fundraising campaign which will enable 3663 customers to donate their Safari loyalty points to the charity.
Hospitality Action provides ongoing support and vital assistance to all who work, or have worked within the hospitality sector in the UK. 3663 has continually supported Hospitality Action since 2003 and has already successfully raised over £780,000 for the organisation.
Safari, 3663’s dedicated online loyalty programme, rewards eligible customers when they buy selected products from 3663. Customers can redeem their points in exchange for a variety of gifts from music and films to the latest must have gadgets, as well as vouchers, experiences and much more. This latest addition to the scheme means that all Safari customers can now give back to their own industry by donating their points to Hospitality Action online at www.3663safari.co.uk and following the Charity Donation link. Every 1,000 Safari Points donated by 3663’s customers is worth £5 to Hospitality Action.
Penny Moore, chief executive at Hospitality Action highlighted just how far even a small donation can go: “Even donating a small number of points can have a real impact on the work we undertake. We are absolutely delighted to be partnering with 3663 and the Safari programme. All donations will be greatly appreciated and it will enable us to fund our ongoing initiatives and support those in the industry who really need our help especially during these tough economic times.”
Gavin Hands, B2B manager at 3663, explained the decision of 3663 choosing Hospitality Action as the charity to partner with on this exciting scheme: “Hospitality Action was the obvious partner to support due to all the wonderful work they undertake to make life easier for those who have fallen on hard times within the hospitality industry. We hope our customers get on board and start saving their points to give something back to those in need within our industry.”
