JR Holland Group has taken delivery of three new trucks.
The JR Holland Group of five companies including a fruit and veg cash and carry, a division supplying flowers and produce broker H2H, runs a combined fleet of 36 trucks that, with just four exceptions, are Mercedes-Benz.
The fleet includes 18-tonne Axors although the majority of the fleet are 7.5-tonne Atego 816 models with insulated boxes. The three new trucks are 7.5-tonne Ategos.
The trucks are used on multi-drop delivery rounds that take them up into the Scottish borders and south to Sheffield.
John Holland, managing director of Holland Group, said: “Our own brand image is one of crisp, clean quality and this is underpinned by our use of Mercedes trucks and the values associated. The vehicles themselves are supremely reliable and have become much more user-friendly since we made the switch to Mercedes-Benz in the early 1990s.”
