Dhamecha Group has chosen STL Technology Solutions to develop its IT systems.
STL has started implementing an end-to-end Merchandise Management System (MMS). When fully installed it is designed to sharpen Dhamecha’s competitive edge by enabling it to effectively execute a customer-centric strategy. STL is also providing a full range of installation and customisation services, along with a comprehensive support service.
Dhamecha owns five cash and carries inside the M25 and services over 10,000 customers. However, its existing IT system was not neatly integrated and this meant that information about product sales, demand, availability and orders was not easily shared.
The STL MMS platform encompasses tilling and management solutions for both head office and Dhamecha’s five branches. The tills are designed to improve check-out efficiency and have centralised management to support promotions. The installation of STL MMS at head office will enable Dhamecha to centralise the buying function for better stock control and purchasing scales. The STL system is due to go fully live by the end of the year and has already been implemented in the Watford and Barking depots.
Pradip Dhamecha, CEO of Dhamecha, said: “By shrewdly using STL’s IT solution to deliver our customer-centric strategy, we will exceed our customer’s expectations – resulting in loyalty, trust and credibility, which we believe will secure our long-term commercial success.”
