WAE+, the Birmingham-based online wholesaler and retailer, is targeting SMEs (small-to-medium sized businesses) with its new business account team.
Seema Mahimi and Joshua Kambo have been appointed as account managers to service WAE+ business customers as part of the group’s new B2B team.
Initially targeting the SME sector, WAE+ will focus on providing information on more than 125,000 products, simple ordering, and multiple payment methods.
“Business customers will have access to a wide range of office supplies, as well as other products from WAE+’s range, including fax machines and copiers, PCs, tablets, mobile phones and projectors plus ink cartridges and printer paper,” Suman Roy, head of e-commerce told Wholesale News.
The business is positioning itself as an “ideal one-stop shop for procurement managers” offering everything from office supplies and consumer electronics to catering supplies.
Roy added: “Since starting up in 2011, our online offering has grown rapidly and we are on target to reach a second year turnover of over £9m. We started our company selling office supplies, but our consumer electronics range was so successful that our focus shifted. Now, with our new business account team, we want to ensure that SMEs are also benefitting fully from our low prices and extensive range.”
