Palmer and Harvey has announced three senior appointments to spearhead its strategic growth.
Andy Maclay has been appointed director of distribution, Mike Park is the new field sales director and Chris Gott has been appointed managing director of P amp;H Snacksdirect.
Maclay has previously worked for Groupe Danone as global account director responsible for Tesco Worldwide and HP Foods and Danone Dairy UK. He and his team at P amp;H are aiming to grow existing accounts and attract new business.
Park will have 70 people reporting to him and his focus will be on Mace business opportunities as well as P amp;H’s work with large independent retailers. Most recently he was director of consulting at the Blueprint for clients such as Carlsbery, Co-op, McCain and Ginsters.
Gott aims to accelerate the recent success of the 150-van operation of P amp;H Snacksdirect by improving distribution and availability of core lines, driving rate of sales through promotional sell-though by retailers and working more closely with core suppliers.
He was previously with Maxxium where he worked as business sector controller.
