New marketing director joins the fold at General Mills

General Mills UK, Ireland and Nordic has appointed Jennifer Jorgensen as marketing director.

She joins the business from General Mills’ Small Planet Foods business in the US where, in the same role of marketing director, she was responsible for driving growth across multiple brands, including Larabar fruit and nut bars, Cascadian Farm organic cereals, and Muir Glen tomato products.

“We are delighted to welcome Jennifer to her new role. I am sure she will be every bit as successful in continuing to drive momentum behind our fantastic portfolio here in the UK, Ireland and Nordic, as she was in growing the Small Planet Foods business in the US,” Jim Moseley, MD of General Mills UK, Ireland and Nordic, said this week.

In her new role, Jennifer will be responsible for building on the success of the General Mills UK, Ireland and Nordic portfolio, which includes Häagen-Dazs, Old El Paso, Green Giant, Betty Crocker, Nature Valley and Jus-Rol.

Jorgensen added: “I am delighted to be joining the team at General Mills UK, Ireland and Nordic, particularly at an exciting time for the business. We are one of the fastest growing food businesses in UK grocery and I look forward to playing my part in continuing that great record of success.”
