New Landmark trading trio

Landmark Wholesale has appointed three new traders to its staff.

John Fergusson-Cooper joins as wines spirits trader, Gordon Walker as chilled frozen trader and Darren Pugh will be responsible for a portfolio which includes petfoods, beverages, biscuits, breakfast cereals, sugar, bread and cakes.

Fergusson-Cooper previously worked for Brains Brewery, AF Blakemore and most recently Makro.

Walker has over 20 years experience within the independent wholesale sector, 17 of these years with Booker where he was responsible for purchasing and trading decisions across many categories.

Pugh previously worked on the retail side of Landmark Wholesale with the Hot House programme where he was retail operations manager. He was also previously operations director at AF Blakemore’s wholesale division.

John Searle, trading director of Landmark, said: “These are strong appointments to Landmark Wholesale, and we are confident that John, Gordon and Darren will be able to grow their respective categories and drive them forward for the benefit of our membership and their customers.”
