Andrea Hargrave has been appointed to the newly created role of wine adviser at Bestway.
Hargrave is a Master of Wine with 15 years experience in the cash and carry and independent sector, and was previously wine controller at Booker where she masterminded the development of Booker’s own label, Malt House Vintners, which now comprises 300 lines.
Hargrave has been appointed as Bestway has undertaken a major review of its wine offer, and it has announced the launch of a new own label brand, Cellar Estates, backed by a budget of pound;250,000. Roll-out of the new brand will begin this month and is due for completion in September, and it is intended it will comprise 85 wines sourced from nine countries.
