Ex-Booker Mike Baker arrives at Budgens while John Pattison takes leads at Londis

Musgrave Retail Partners GB has appointed Mike Baker as Budgens brand director and John Pattison as brand director at Londis as part of the group’s restructuring to turn the business around.

Baker joins from Booker Group where he worked as trading director and head of own brand for four years, more recently being responsible for the Makro offer. He has more than 28 years of commercial and operational experience in both the retail and wholesale sector, starting his career at Sainsbury, spending 14 years there in various roles including buying and operations.

As brand director for Budgens he will be responsible for the development of all areas of the retailer’s consumer proposition and further developing the business.

Pattison is former retail director for both the Londis and Budgens brands and his new role sees him now focused on moving the business forward.

The turnaround plan includes operational restructure of Londis and Budgens with dedicated teams working on each brand.
