Alistair Kieran, business sector controller at Tetley, will explore the opportunities to drive both sales and profit within the convenience retailing and catering sectors.
Within convenience retailing he will outline how with knowledge, guidance and the right support the convenience retailer can minimise duplication, make the consumer perceive they have a bigger offering, and therefore drives sales and profit.
Within the catering areas he will suggest how hot beverages need to be communicated to the consumer in a clearer fashion. Tea is the cheapest beverage other than tap water, so increasing tea sales will increase profit.
Alistair has been with Tetley GB for just over two years as a business sector controller. Six months ago he moved from the grocery side of the business to head up the cash and carry and convenience team. Previous to Tetley he worked for Nestl eacute;, Mars and M S in a variety of roles.
