In 2005 we delivered further service improvements for this key channel. Our total supply chain is focused on delivering true operational excellence. We are proud of our network capability and the choice of route to market we offer.
The robustness of our service, and specifically casefill, is a result of our investment in systems, infrastructure, positive working relationships and resource. Fundamentally, the constant evaluation of the total chain, removing ‘dead’ time from our processes, continues to generate the greatest benefits.
This efficiency work will continue this year as we look to meet even more of our customers reducing lead-time needs. In 2006, more than any other year, we will prioritise and monitor availability at point of purchase, supporting the agreed core range and promotional execution for maximum sales benefits.
We will also ensure that any network enhancements support changing category needs and range development – in a growing and dynamic sector this will be fundamental to all of us winning in soft drinks.
