Burnley-based Birchall Foodservice is celebrating a triple-win – scooping two awards from two separate events on the same night.
It was named Burnley Medium Size Business of the Year at the Burnley Business Awards, while in London it was a runner up in the Family Business United Family Business of the Year (North). What’s more, to top the night off its Country Range Luxury Bread and Butter Pudding took Silver in the Best New Dessert category at the British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF) awards night.
Meanwhile, also at the BFFF awards, Brakes won Gold in the Best New Desserts category with its Individual Cherry Frangipane Tart, plus a further two silver awards and four bronzes for products including its King Crackle Crackling in Best New Accompaniment Potato/Vegetable and Naked Smoked Haddock amp; Salmon Melting Middle Fish Cake in the Best New Main Course/Meal Centre product.
