Foodservice wholesaler JJ Food Service has partnered up with Lavazza Coffee to offer caterers coffee-related goodies via social media ahead of National Coffee Week (which commences on May 4, 2015).
One winner will receive an Espria A Modo Mio coffee machine with a starter pack of capsules and a month’s supply of Qualita Rossa Roast and Ground (250g), while runners-up will receive PoS packs, which include Lavazza plastic table talkers, menus, loyalty cards, stamps and window stickers.
To enter, caterers need to post how they like their coffee served to @JJfoodservice via Twitter; JJ Foodservice Ltd via Facebook; or JJ_Food_Service via Instagram with the hashtag: #JJLavazzacoffee. The competition is open to all caterers, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and hotels who serve or would like to start serving Lavazza Coffee.
JJ Food Service general manager Terry Larkin said: “The out-of-home coffee market is valued at £7.2bn and is expected to grow to £16.5bn across 27,000 outlets by 2020. It’s a big opportunity for our customers and indicative of how important good quality coffee has become.”
He added: “Our aim with the campaign is to inject some fun into National Coffee Week while supporting our Lavazza customers with the tools they need to succeed. We’re inviting everything from quirky cups to special syrups and sprinkles – whatever makes your coffee special.”
In the UK, Lavazza is the second largest coffee brand in retail.
“We are proud to say that JJ is the nominated foodservice supplier that distributes Lavazza coffee, which gives our business a unique point of difference compared with other foodservice specialists”, Larkin added.
