JJ Food Service launches social media film for caterers

JJ Food Service has launched What’s Cooking – a mini-movie designed to share innovative menu ideas created by customers using its products via YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. 

Temptations Cafe, based in Clerkenwell, London, kicks off the first episode with a hot roast pork brioche, with crackling and apple sauce.

JJ National Account Manager Sue Guilfoyle said: “We want to promote some of the great things our customers are doing while inspiring others with new and interesting menu ideas. We appreciate that caterers are short on time so we think the punchy 30-second format is spot on.”

Temptations, which has two cafes in London, started the roast pork brioche last year and has since launched other popular menus ideas including a retro-brunch concept, which features a unique take on the traditional waffle, including unusual combinations like Buttermilk-Fried Chicken and Gravy, and Full English Breakfast.

“Clerkenwell caters to the tastes of trendy office workers and Temptations is a great example of a cafe that’s keeping its menu fresh, contemporary and relevant to its demographic. We’d be interested to hear from other customers doing something innovative on their menus,” said Guilfoyle.
