Creed Foodservice has been confirmed as Connect Catering Ltd.’s foodservice partner of choice for the next three years. The food wholesale contract, worth £2.5million, is the single biggest contract awarded to an external supplier by the contract caterer.
The appointment came after a comprehensive tender process which saw Creed marked out for its: consistently high levels of service, passion for innovative products and value for money product offering.
Connect, founded in 1989 is a fresh food contract caterer. Both companies say they share the same ethos, particularly in sustainability matters a and a commitment to using and sourcing high quality products that are manufactured in an ethical and environmentally responsible way.
Connect’s drive to use ethical products and Creed’s expertise in sourcing innovative and sustainable solutions, has led to Creed supplying products such as; Thirsty Planet Water, Wrapmaster non PVC Clingfilm and Vegware compostable packaging. Connect also champion RSPCA free range eggs, accredited British Red Tractor sourced bacon, MSC certified fish.

Creed, a family-owned wholesale business, which employs a 350 strong workforce at its strategically located distribution centres in Gloucestershire, Derbyshire and Buckinghamshire, will service Connect Catering’s 73 sites in the South of England.
