Speakers including Martin Race, commercial director of Batleys, and Grant Scrimgeour, director of wholesale at CJ Lang Son, have been lined up for the Scottish Wholesale Association Annual Conference on June 5-7.
SWA president Iain Hill, managing director of Iain Hill in Ayrshire, will open and close both sessions and look ahead to the challenges facing members and the wider wholesale industry.
Other speakers include Stephen Clinton, the Booker buyer with specific responsibility for Scotland, John Forteith, senior partner with Forteith Foodservice, George Benson, commercial director for Bellevue, Kirk Tanner, vice-president of impulse at PepsiCo, and Andy Stevens, head of wholesale and symbol at Gallaher.
Hill said: “We are delighted to have secured such a strong line-up of very high-profile speakers for our two business sessions this year.
“As an Association, we’re confident that we have put together a relevant programme covering all sectors of business and in this, the year of Homecoming, the theme ‘The Spirit of Scotland’ couldn’t be more appropriate.”
