Rayburn Trading has received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for its achievement in international trade.
The Manchester-based company distributes toiletries, cosmetics, household goods and confectionery to the retail, wholesale and commercial sectors.
The award was formally presented on December 2 by the Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester, Warren J Smith. Directors from the company attended a special reception at Buckingham Palace in July to celebrate their achievement and had the chance to meet the Queen, Prince Philip and the Duke of Kent.
Howard Goldman, export director of Rayburn Trading, said: “We are delighted to have received such an accolade and would like to thank everyone who has helped us to achieve this. Rayburn now sells to over 60 countries and we have ambitious plans to expand our own label lines and grow our international market.”
