William Reed Business Media, publisher of food trade titles including ProWholesaler and The Grocer, has launched the Food Drink Logistics Show.
The show will run alongside the Convenience Retailing Show and other trade shows taking place March 21-24 at the NEC at Birmingham.
The show aims to provide an opportunity for suppliers to meet with buyers.
According to William Reed, the food and drink logistics market in the UK is worth some pound;12bn a year and forms around 10% of food and drink companies’ total spend. The show aims to provide a unique and dedicated platform for companies involved with warehousing, palletised transport, third party logistics, supply chain solutions and other areas to showcase their products to decision makers from the food and drink sectors.
Chris Sturman, chief executive of the Food Storage Distribution Federation, said: “The FSDF is proud to support the Food Drink Logistics Show. Our mission is to promote excellence in food logistics and we feel the new show is in synergy with this aim.”
