Makro has been busy this summer with multiple promotions.
The company has celebrated its 35 years in the UK by offering its customers the chance to win pound;35,000. It also offered goody bags and money back deals on TVs in connection with the World Cup in Footy Fever promotions.
The promotions ran across Makro’s 33 stores and proved successful, with a rise in footfall and sales for participating suppliers.
Over 440,000 customers were entered into the pound;35,000 free prize draw and publican Geoff Irvine from Cardiff was the winner. Geoff said: “I have worked hard all my life and have never won anything like this; it’s amazing.”
In addition, 33 Makro customers won their money back on TVs brought in the run-up to the World Cup.
