England footballer Sir Geoff Hurst was the guest of honour at the Today’s Group Football Crazy roadshow staged receptions at Holmes Wholesale Services depots in Coleraine, Belfast and Lurgan in Northern Ireland.
Holmes customers were offered a chance to win over pound;10,000 worth of prizes, including pound;7,500 of sports equipment for donation to their local school’s or youth teams. According to Holmes, record crowds attended the roadshows for a day of activities including: a barbecue, penalty shoot-outs, Coca-Cola’s table soccer challenge, face paining and soccer skills training with ball control specialist Mr Keepy Uppy. Holmes customers from each of it’s seven Holmes depots throughout Northern Ireland competed to win Xbox 360 packages in the ‘Crazy Cup’ competition in association with Budweiser.
