George Kirkpatrick of James Wilson in Orkney won the Today’s Life President Award at the Today’s Group annual Member and Supplier Awards’ Dinner last month.
The Life President Award recognises members who have shown excellence in all aspects of wholesaling throughout the year, reflecting the work of individuals and their industry contribution.
The awards were announced by former footballer and pundit Ian St John, and presented to the winners by Dudley Ramsden, life president of Nisa-Today’s, and CEO Neil Turton. The winners were selected by Today’s key executives in recognition of individual performances throughout the year as well as outstanding commitment to the group.
JW Filshill won the Best Delivered Wholesaler award, Dhamecha Foods was Best Cash Carry, and Imperial Cash Carry was Best Specialist Wholesaler for the second year running.
In the supplier awards, Masterfoods won Best Grocery Supplier, Best Licensed Supplier was Constellation Europe, GlaxoSmithKline won Best Impulse Supplier, Best Non-Food Supplier was Procter Gamble UK, Best Supporting/Service Supplier was SHS Sales Marketing and HJ Heinz took the award for the Best Foodservice Supplier.
