Unilever Foodsolutions is the winner of the Federation of Wholesale Distributors Catersummit Cup 2007
This is the seventh year that the FWD has awarded the trophy with the aim of identifying, encouraging and promoting new ideas, new products and new concepts in the foodservice sector.
The cup is awarded on a straight vote by wholesalers. They nominated and voted for 16 suppliers this year with Unilever Foodsolutions PG Tips ‘Monkey Pack’ promotion emerging the winner.
FWD director general John Murphy said: “Unilever Foodsolutions is a well established and very significant player in the marketplace.”
The award was presented by Murphy and FWD chairman Francis Ball to Simon Marshall, managing director of Unilever Foodsolutions.
Previous winners include Walkers Snacks, Procter Gamble, United Biscuits, Cadbury Trebor Bassett, Kraft Foods Away From Home and Heinz Foodservice.
