Landmark Wholesale today announced that its sales for 2014-15 were up on the previous year – a demonstration, said the Group, of the success of its focus on promotions and pricing.
During March 2015, Landmark Wholesale sales grew solidly, with cigarette sales showing a 5.6% rise, while overall sales out from depots rose by 4.8%.
“These figures contributed to an overall rise of 8.9% from May 2014 to March 2015 compared to the same trading period last year,” said a spokesperson. “In particular, cigarette sales during this period were up an impressive 13% despite all the challenges of the market.”
“Our clear focus on competitive pricing and timely promotions continues to pay off,” added Landmar Wholesale MD Martin Williams. “We are delighted with our sales figures throughout this financial year, particularly those around own brand such as No3 which illustrates the demand for a quality alternative to the leading brands.”
