Landmark Wholesale sales continue to perform well despite the continued sluggish economic conditions, the group said this week.
Its cumulative, total sales for May – August rose 8.5% against the same period last year. Cigarette and tobacco sales increased by 7.8% and grocery rose by 12%. Licensed sales remained level.
“Overall the group is performing exceedingly well, despite the slow economy. Our strong performance has been helped by the positive impact and excellent trading results from all of our members including our newer ones,” said Martin Williams, Landmark Wholesale managing director.
