Foodservice specialist 3663 this week reported “significant multimillion pound” sales growth in 2013.
In a statement issued this week, the company said that despite the fragile economic climate, the outlook for 2014 looked increasingly positive.
It added that during 2013 it had experienced net value growth across its entire foodservice sector, in both the profit and cost channels. Plus it had won 10 new national and regional customers worth more than £60m per annum.
Alex Fisher, managing director of 3663 said: “We are thrilled that more foodservice customers are choosing 3663. We believe that chefs, cooks and procurement teams are coming to us because of our strong focus on delivering partnership strategies.
“As a business we want to make our customers’ lives easier and help them to be successful. We share our customers’ passion for food and understand that they expect a great experience. Everyone on our team is driven to deliver what’s important and support our customers where and when they need it most.”
3663’s business growth comes at a time when the company has announced a second stage multi-million pound infrastructure investment, which includes four new depots and updating its infrastructure, multi-temperature vehicle fleet and IT systems. It is also investing in new technology to improve customer service and efficiency.
Fisher added: “Our customers’ choice of 3663 as their business partner is a vote of confidence in staff, service and product range as well as in our investment plan and organic growth strategy.”
